Sethurama Iyer CBI, “The most non-violent investigator in the world” is back…..
Megastar Mammotty has revealed the title reveal motion poster of his new movie “CBI-5 The Brain”. The actor has done this by himself through his Facebook handle. He is doing the character of Sethurama Iyer CBI in this movie. “CBI-5 The Brain” is the fifth part of the investigational sequel first released by“Our CBI Diary Kurippu” in 1988.
The CBI series is considered the most epic investigational thriller ever made in the Malayalam movie industry. Jagratha (1989), Sethurama Iyer CBI (2004), and Nerariyan CBI (2005) were the other sequels in this series before this episode. After a lot of speculations, this movie is getting released after a wait of 17 years.
Cast & Crew behind CBI-5 The Brain:
Veteran K. Madhu directed the new movie named “CBI 5 The Brain” with the script of S. N. Swamy, who backed the previous episodes too. The iconic theme music of the CBI series was initially composed by Shyam and is being recreated in this part by Jakes Bejoy. Just like the previous episodes, the producer of this movie is Swargachitra Appachan is the producer of this movie.
Apart from Mammotty, leading actors like Renji Panicker, Sai Kumar, Soubin Shahir, Mukesh, Ramesh Pisharadi, Anoop Menon, Dileesh Pothen, Asha Sarath & Kaniha will also share the screen. It is reported that Jagathy Sreekumar, who has acted in the previous episodes, will also appear on screen after a long time.
As all the four previous movies of the series were superhits, the audience expectation for the new part has already skyrocketed. And this is reflected in the YouTube views of the official title reveal video, which crossed 1Million views.
