This movie marks the directorial debut of Madhu Warrier who is also the brother of Manju Warrier. With this movie the lady super star wears the cap of a movie producer for the first time. Century Kochumon who funded many hit movies is the co-producer of this family drama.

The expected release date of the movie was July 2020, but the COVID crisis has forced the crew to post pone the release to March 2022.
Biju Menon and Manju Warrier is working together for a movie after almost 2 decades. The last movie they acted together was Kannezhuthi Pottum Tottu which was released in 1998.
